Hi everyone

I have recently purchased a king tiger 2019 model and I'm looking for some information

I'm having difficultly in knowing the specific materials to recreate certain effects such as the zimmerit replication and the welding effects and how to apply each of these details

And what paint makes are good to use as I'm having difficulty in finding the right stuff also would I need to invest in a paint Airbrush compresser

I have phoned bovington they have given me 3 ral paint numbers 7028 6003 and 8017 for the king tiger they havnt included though the information for the red oxide though

However I'm looking for more information than what the instructions in the manual say

Is there anything I should know in specifically what tools to get and specifically anything you can tell me I have purchased quite a few varieties of tools recently mainly the ones set out by the manual in box

I just would like as much as you can tell me I just don't want to make any mistakes I will follow the instructions you give if it helps but I just need to be more prepared

If you look at the front page of the Forum you’ll see a section called Knowledge Base. The answers to most of your questions will be there. You should also read all the topics in the King Tiger section. Finally, the instruction manual will have a list of all the basic tools you’ll need - but I stress the basic !

But don’t be afraid to experiment, and determine your own way of doing things ! That’s a large slice of the fun, and is how we all started. There are no right or wrong answers (well, there are a few, but they’re obvious, health and safety ones ).

I felt the same as John.
But as Marco says

Huge pioneer achievement reports,
Exchange of words and hints that I do not understand.
I am tired of my low level.
But.
Now, I build what I want to do from what I can do.

By the way, painting gained the first experience value with Pak43 / 41!
