How is the spacer CP0340 used in the wheel assembly?
Directions mentioned it’s use, but nothing on how to use them

Thanks Phil, yes it does. I figured that might be the way

So, what’s the torque rate on these. The one I completed I spaced the bolts like a car tire. So they are evenly tightened. However given the rubber gasket I’m not sure if you over tighten it’ll be a issue, same for under. That rubber ring does compress with the right amount of pressure. Currently I have a paper thin space between the disk ( CK0215) after cranking down the bolt...is this the right approach? Not sure at this point and don’t want to move ahead with not knowing the proper assembly

Hi Bryan
I tightened mine the same way as you. I’m pretty sure the two metal “discs” are touching each other when the nuts are tight. I used 45 years experience as a mechanical engineer to gauge that they’re tight!

My CK0215s touch for what it is worth. I started to develop a routine on about the 3rd wheel. When I get to 35, I will probably have it perfected enough for the finale!

Thanks for the reply’s and info, sorry for the delayed response! I think all 3 of us are assembling them the same way, pretty solid once completed...only have 26 more to go!
Thanks again for the help.

Hi Bryan
You’re welcome. By the way, I only have 6 to go... just saying!
Phil.

Has anyone gotten any official word on this from armortek?

Hi Adam
It just seems the obvious way...I can’t see any other way of assembling them?
Phil.

Hi all,
I am thinking of replacing my late pattern Tiger 1 wheels with a set of the new resilient wheels supplied with the KT and upcoming JT kits. Does any one have any advice based on fitting these to the 2019 KT? Many thanks and stay safe

Is anyone painting these assemblies before assembly? I am concerned about the steel rings rusting on the inside. How about a coat of primer on the inside surfaces before assembly? Overkill?
Thanks,
Tom

I give anything steel a coat of a high zinc content primer and anything aluminium a mist of etch primer followed by a normal acrylic primer.
