25 Pdr Maintenance Manual in PDF

Post by Brian Fleming »

Greetings,

I'm a new 25 Pdr. builder and after seeing all of the great info and photos, I thought it only fair to share my PDF copy of the "Maintenance Manual for the Ordnance, Q.F. 25-PR., Marks II and III on Carriage, 25-PR., Mark I and Mounting, S.P. 25-PR., C, Mark I and Mounting, Valentine, 25-PR. Gun, Mark I" published in 1944.

Please PM me for the download URL and password.

Enjoy.

These original maintenance manuals are a fascinating read. Searching the internet you should be able to locate virtually everything you want. One particular site has hundreds to download free. Interesting what was regarded as important maintenance wise. Reading the M Halftrack, I had to smile at the instruction on making good where the paint had come off. You didn't apparently have to repaint the whole vehicle just the worn bits!
