Chieftain exhaust question

Hi all
As the title says I’m after some exhaust info as I’m building a detailed exhaust box plus exhausts my questions are
1- the kit supplies copper plumbing elbows is this due to heat for the smoking element or was it a simple representation for exhausts?
2- does anyone know the diameters of the exhausts ? (Forgot last weekend to measure them when I visited the tank Museum !!!!!
)
