Today I came across a light-hearted 2012 Japanese anime called "Girls und Panzer". If you come across this series, don't try to make sense of the episodes but the battle scenes are fun.

If you're into 1/35th scale models, there's a GuP branded range, which are actually reboxed Tamiya/Dragon/CyberHobby kits.

These occasionally appear on Ebay at much lower prices than the original kits.

Bit late to the party but found this series today. I'm into tanks and my daughter is into anime so worked quite well. Bit worried about who the series is aimed at though... Anyway, distracted her enough that I could brush out the tangles in her hair.

Is currently on Netflix if anyone else is curious.

I was informed that the blonde was the spitting image of his girlfriend whilst the dark-haired commander was the spitting image of her best friend.
I was told that his girlfriend insisted on it having a female crew if he wanted to keep both model & her.

Apart from the anime series, there are also two anime movies.
