sdkfz 164 Nashorn
Hello men
With the release of the Pak 43 from Armortek, I had an idea that should not get out of my head.
I have to have a rhinoceros in 1/6
Immediately I start collecting Panzer IV parts from Armortek until it was a long way off.
But I'm still looking for Panzer IV parts from Armortek. Who has something please should contact me casters other chassis parts chains etc .. I need everything there is still much to do with the steel tub is a start made.

Re: sdkfz 164 Nashorn
Hello Heiko!
I'm really looking forward to the building thread.
The rhino is a great idea, I would like a Sd.Kfz.164 as well.
The open combat area will be an eye-catcher but also a challenge.
Regards
Michael

Hi Heiko,
I look forward to this build of yours as what I have seen of yours other build here and on other forum your work and skills are second to non.
Sadly can’t help you with parts but just a reminder you need a pair of Stug/Panzer III sprockets here as well.
Kind regards
Kent

Re: sdkfz 164 Nashorn
This will be a great project. Following along as well.
Rhino/Nashorn is favorite of mine too!
Gunter Gabelein used to make really nice idler wheel casting for PZ4. Not sure if you need that part or if he still makes those?

Best regards,

Hi Männer
I started the days to pour decorative casters and castor rubbers, until I have them all together it will take a few weeks.
The sliding plates under the carriages are drawn from 3D printing according to Armortek dimensions

Re: sdkfz 164 Nashorn
it continues in small steps. where it was particularly difficult for me was the recording and storage and the associated suffering wheel.
but this problem is also solved. next, a stable tube support had to be built that the heavy Armortek gun can also withstand.

Hello men
I don't want to hide my progress from you either.
in the meantime i have all my running rubbers poured, now all i have to do is pour and use my star for the rollers, which i have poured from my Panzer IV AT
because the star pattern from Armortek would have been priceless.
I have already continued to work on the superstructures, the chassis will soon be finished. I have largely built the Leidrad chain tensioner based on the original.
