I’m in the process of installing the newer 2017 modules. I have 2 questions that I need help with.

1) In the Audio Module instructions it mentions that the sound card is susceptible to magnetic fields. I am very restricted to where these modules can go and was planning to put this audio module between my 2 main drive motors. Is there anyway I can install this module there and still be ok between these motors?

2) I have 2 of Steve Winstone strobe M.G.s and have been told that they can operate with the appropriate sound card selection. Does anyone know how to accomplish that?

I would install the Audio Module between the motors and see if you get any kind of interference in the speakers when the motors are turning. I've never seen (heard) a situation where that was the case, as the motors are well shielded. If there is any kind of noise from the speakers, it's normally coming from noise on the wiring rather than from magnetic waves.

The LED machine guns should connect to the second LED output on the Audio Module, if the TBS Mini has been configured to flash them.

When you get the MG to flash could you post how you did it? I have the same audio module and love to know how it's done.

Following Adrian's suggestion I went to experiment with the MG flash and managed to get it to work.

I have the same audio module for my Tiger 1. The MG sound is programmed as the forth sound. By trial and error I found that the LED output No. 4 gives the flash with the corresponding sound. Lower pin is positive terminal and the upper pin is the negative terminal.

If they are the new modules (just 2 instead of 4) I don't think the m/c gun sounds will work as the mini is not connected through the amp board. I may be wrong so I think you need to check with Armortek.

Yes.

Although there are usually multiple MG sounds on the Benedini TBS Mini, there is only one LED output for the MG.
