Hi All,
In the photo below is a Panzer III M with schurtzen. Was this the only difference between the Ausf L & M and has anyone thought of adding it
and were the Bosch headlights on the Pzr III the same size as on the Panther & Tiger II Only thinking of Steve Winstons fantastic headlights.
Thanks Antony

I thought of converting to version N, with a short 7.5 gun if the after market offers them.
Here is the main difference between the L and M. There may be more as we progress on our research and build.
"Panzer III Ausf M
The Ausf M was very similar to the Ausf L but with the addition of a wading kit which allowed it to pass through four or five feet of water without any special preparation.
Panzer III Ausf N
The Ausf N was the final production version of the standard Panzer III, and was armed with the short 7.5cm gun used on early versions of the Panzer IV. It served as a close support tank in the early Tiger companies."
Take care

Hi Kent,Kent Wiik wrote:Hi Antony,
Yes, the Bosch headlight was the same as on the Panther, TigerI, Tiger II and Panzer IV.
Cheers

But how about the Panzer III??? Any info on that? I have some parts currently on order with Steve, if the healights are the same size as well, I might just get another set...
Hi Antony,
Looks like you beat us to the answer which I have to search anyway. Still relatively very new to all the panzers except the Tiger I.
Peace and take care
