Hi Simon,

Your build is one of the best on the forum. 8)

Daves Battery is the wrong size for the Sdkfz7, its only 6V, you'll need a 12V like the one below and it should be in a wooden box.

Great piece of information Paul, Many Thanks, where did you get the correct Battery from? At the moment i am working out the hood fitting, positioning the rail at the rear which the hood ties down too, this is critical for it all to look right, This is typical of building this vehicle, a lot of working out on all parts, regards simon.

Thanks Derek, Nice to know your enjoying the build, Just a short post to show that you can cram all the new option pack under the bonnet of the 7,
Electrics are not my strong point, just functional will do, sound and lights, one of the units is on the underside of the Battery Tray, Disguised as a sump guard, all for now regards simon.

Looks great Simon - having batteries up front will provide some useful weight over front wheels. I just love your shop - everywhere you look more tanks! Wonderland!
Best regards,
Bob
