I've been there three times now, the first visit was quite by chance and the other trips were on business to photograph the collection for a book on Allied & Axis equipment.
It's well worth a visit and the whole area is steeped in "Battle of the Bulge" history, the museum houses a very fascinating collection of very rare gear collected by the owner directly from backyards and surrounding fields.
As many of you will already know they've got a king Tiger parked right outside which hasn't moved in the past 64 years since the battle, it has suffered at some point by being used as target practice by the Allies just after the town was liberated
I also managed to grab some "Then & Now" images which are always fascinating to see.
These photos were taken in the very next town of Stoumont, most of these black & white photos should be familiar as they are from the film footage taken during the fierce battle to capture the town. Something kinda spooky about standing on the exact same spot a fully tooled up Panther would have rolled past 64 years earlier!
