When you play the main gun sound, there is a servo signal generated on "RC Connections" #2, which should go to the servo by the limit switches. No other connection is needed to the receiver as the Audio Module does all the syncing.

On older models, this servo pulled on the barrel to create the recoil movement. As guns have grown in size, this put too much strain on the servo, hence the spiral system now in use on the bigger models.

Once the Audio Module is powered up, the servo should go to the ready position. Then, when you play the main gun sound. the servo should run through a set arc and back to the ready position.

I'm afraid you're going to have to reset the limit switches, once you have the recoil operating from the Audio Module.

Adrian.

These instruction books are very important..

But you have to have a servo connected to the RX to get the input from the Transmitter to fire...

Thanks Adrian...

You're 95% the way there.

Once you get the servo moved from the RX to the Audio Module, you should only need to reset the limit switches, so the servo fires off the motor when you play the sound.

Adrian, or Brian.. might you have the instructions on setting the limit switches? I did what Arian suggested..

When I start the tank, the servo is closed on the limit switch.. but after 10 seconds or so, the servo moves to the release position, and does not return. The gun just cycles, with no sound.. and the snail cam goes round and round.

Its like it needs to be reversed. Since its not in my RX.. im not sure how to reverse it

Happy Holidays Everyone!!

Quick question to all the builders out there .. I notice that my kit did not come supplied with a machine gun servo mount, light, or audio setup...

Is this a different option from Armortek? Anyone hooked their Elefant machine gun up?

Thanks!

Brian, to be quiet honest this B.E.A.S.T can be painted anytime.. we can will enjoy it in stages.. BUT! I'm not all about the WW2 theme to be honest.. and personally, its not anything that I have any attachment to.. I just think that this is a super cool tank destroyer! What a great project to build with my friends. Silly as it may sound.. the TD is organically becoming what it is. Im just another artist letting the TD tell me what it wants to be..
Being a 10 year celebration project for our show on YouTube, we never did things "by the book".. and always do our best to think outside the box.. it's what we have been told made the show unique and unexpected, with a twist of inspiration for some. I am amazed jobs that the artists do on this forum, and I continue to learn from the posts here daily. The skill and talent is truly extraordinary.. but like every artist.. for the moment, I have a different vision.. A more modern, aggressive, and intimidating looking "muted" Policed State, style of machine. It will evolve and change with time.. like all projects do. The evolution...
