Part EP0558 Brake Equalizer - Silly question

Am I going mad? There are two EP0558 Brake Equalizers, but I can’t find where they go. I have looked through the manual again and again but no joy.
Will someone please put me out of my misery?

Hi Ken,
you are quite right - we missed the parts out of the manual!
The image below shows the parts and where they are meant to go.
