Tiger 322?

I am trying to get hold of a photo of Tiger 322,s.Pz.Abt.507 that I know exists,as I am considering doing this vehicle. It was a late Tiger that served in East Prussia. Does anyone have it in their collection of reference material. I have a picture of a model of it in an Osprey book, but would like to see the real Tiger if possible.
Thank you in advance for any help,
Lionel

There's a rather sorry B&W picture of it on page 315 of "Tiger's in Combat I" by Wolfgang Schneider.

The caption reads:

"The attempt to recover Tiger 322 to Praschnitz failed. On 15th January 1945, it had to be blown up. A Soviet solder approaches from the rear."

Thanks for posting the picture Tim.

Do you have the hardback version of this book or the paperback ?

Reason I ask is that the picture quality of the pictures in the paperback one is quite poor in places but then it only cost 25ukp rather than the 200ukp which the hard back seems to cost. I'm wondering if that's why it's so cheap.

Hi Adrian,

Mine is paperback as well and although the quality is poor on many of the photos, there's a lot in there I had not seen before. That's always nice.

Good luck with the build Lionel. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Tim
