HI, All
I thought I was going to be able to test my motions pack today but alas it was not meant to be. I purchase a Spectrum DX 6 with the new AR6600T receiver. The problem was that the female connectors from the power unit are just too big to fit, does anyone know what type of connection I need please . I am assuming that the ones suppled are the Futaba type?
Regards Allan

The problem is probably the way the different manufacturers try to prevent you from plugging them in the wrong way round.
Futaba do it by having a flange down one side. Spektrum do it by having two of the corners chamfered.
So to be able to plug a Futaba plug into a Spektrum receiver, you will need to:
1) Remove the flange - easily done with a pair of flush cutting side cutters, or a sharp craft knife.
2) Chamfer two of the corners to the same profile as the case of the receiver.
On the AR6600T, the plugs will need to go in with the black lead closest to the edge and the white lead towards the middle of the receiver, so from that you should be able to work out which two corners to chamfer.
If you don't fancy attacking the Armortek supplied leads, you could buy some JR/Spektrum Male/Male servo leads on Ebay and just replace the Armortek ones, as the JR/Spektrum ones should fit without any modifications.
Adrian.

I second that option. That's what I plan to do when I come to that part of the build.
