Hi Brian and welcome to the group. Interesting zimm tool you have made there. Have you decided on the color scheme yet? At the moment the Munster Tiger color scheme seems to be growing on me.

Hi Vince, I have seen the Munster Tiger it is good, I believe the road wheels are painted also. Those colors seem pretty accurate. During the Normandy campaign most of the road wheels seem to be un painted on the tigers. A lot of the tanks have spare track on the front end too. Are you going to ad the spare track? I am leaning towards the tiger pictured above from first company since it has good documentation and no spare track.

Very few Tigers used in Normandy had no camouflage on the wheels as for spare tracks on the front this was typical of various Tiger Abteilung but not all. s.SS.Pz.Abt. 102 very few as in 2 or 3 had spare tracks on the front plate they instead opted for spare tracks on the drivers front plate as did most of the Tigers from s.Pz.Abt.503 plus a number also had spare tracks on the front plate Wherstead as s.Pz.Abt.101 only had tracks on the front plate this Abteilung also had Tigers issued earlier thanot the other 2 Tiger Abteilung who only had all steel wheeled late versions.

Yes Brian, I have already made the front spare track holder using the two pre-existing
3mm threaded holes that are on the front of the hull. That made life a lot easier.
Actually I put the tracks up-side-down. Have to remember that.

Tile Adhesive method. Apoxie was too brittle and thick.
