I recently purchased one of Ivano,s HL230 P45 engines and intend fitting it into my late Tiger when I rebuild it. I have started to assemble the basic MDF frame of the engine onto which the detailed resin and metal parts attach.
The Kit supplied by Ivano is very comprehensive including lots of very small nuts and bolts, decals, foto etch, tubing, linkages and much more. This is going to be a slow build but I will try to document it as I go along.

Very interesting project in itself. I could see the certificate of authenticity (in Italian) but no assembly instructions. Does it have one?

Yes its a really nice kit, I have seen on some posts a hint of instructions but there were none with mine. However mine did come with a memory stick full of photos of the kit parts and the build up sequence so these will have to do. I think once all the major parts are in place, the positioning of smaller ones should become obvious, I have been warned check the build sequence as it is possible to fit some parts that will prevent others being fitted.

From your photos, the parts seem to be well made and detailed. I suspect I would be using a magnifying glass for some of the smaller parts. Enjoy the build Steve and would love to see progress photos as you move along.

p.s. As the MDF frame is hollow, I wonder if one can put a small electric motor and make the flywheel turn. That's just me over-complicating things!!
