Hi David,

You can download the 4QD Vortex manual from their site http://www.4qd.co.uk/instrs/PDF/select.pdf . This explains the proper connections for the battery and the motor.
Good luck !

Hi David

A question for you. From your pictures, it looks like you have added the 4QD controllers to the existing old setup used by Armortek. If so, it can be sorted out fairly easily.

David,

As said by Mick it looks as if you are replacing the ElectroniZe speed controllers with 4QD and also you appear to have dismantled the 4QD's to put them in metal boxes. You can remove the Electronize units all together, the blue and yellow wires go direct from the 4QD to the motor red and black. The red and black from the 4QD go to the battery (be carefull that red is on the positive terminal of the battery) The fith wire from the 4QD goes to the DMR 203 interface unit and the other lead from the input side of the DMR 203 interface unit goes to the receiver channel you wish to use. You can swap the blue and yelow wires around on the motor to get the corect rotation direction.
