Gentlemen, I am shopping for rivets for my Tiger I turret bin, Any idea what size would best replicate these? I was looking at 1mm but they seem a bit small.
Thanks in advance.

Greg, 1mm = 6mm in full size, which is probably a bit big.

Have a look here:

I used 1/16th (1.5mm) initially on my Pz III decking and they certainly looked too big. I replaced them with 3/46th (1.1mm) and even so, they could have done with being a bit smaller. There is a practical issue though of fitting the smaller sizes and I thought 1mm was a reasonable compromise.

I used the same 3/64ths on the Rommelkiste here:

All the best.

Stephen

This is what I thought. The ones on the Tiger 131 seem very small. The only other photo of a bin I could find is the one below. I can see no riveting on it at all. The only other bin I know of in existence is Michael Whitman's. I can only find blurry photos of that.
Thanks Stephen

So then one might go down to the point .08 listed here?

This is a side on view of the bin on 131.

From the overall width of the bin you should be able to extrapolate the width of the rivet heads to get the right scale size on the Armortek bin.
