Hi all,
This maybe a silly question but a friend of mine is going to modify a motorcycle lift for a work table. My Tiger 1kit arrives today  Without pulling all the bits out of the boxes could somebody tell me the gap between the tracks so that he knows how wide to make the lift table.
Thanks in advance.

I won't be starting the build until I have replaced my existing shed(with my chopper and other crap in it so I need to find somewhere to put all that)and sealed and lined my new shed.So it will be around Spring time.

As I intend to do a build thread and I am a Ludite, which is the best way to post up pics?I've tried putting some pics off my phone but I get a message saying file too large.I have considered doing it on Facebook and putting a link on here to my Facebook page.

Regards Glen Clark.

The lower hull floor on a Tiger is 12" (30cm) wide, and Armortek list the full kit width as 24", so something which encompasses that spread should be fine.

I normally reduce pictures on here to 1024x768 pixels, and you can uploaded them directly to the forum, which saves any grief such as we all suffered when PhotoBucket shot themselves in both feet.

Not everyone has a Facebook account, and some actively avoid it, so you might be limiting your audience by putting the pictures one there, though of course it does mean doubling up on the effort if you post a build thread in both places.

If you have a normal bike table lift the long type then this will be wide enough to take a Tiger II with space either end for tools and cups of tea, I used one from time to time to work on tanks when it wasn’t been used on a daily bases at work, weight wise they are able to take the weight of a Busa with ease so a Tiger II won’t be a problem.
