War & Peace Show 2008

Post by Vince Abbott »

Hi Guys,

As ever the War & Peace Show delivered a great spectacle of all things Military, including my first glimpse of the new Armortek King Tiger. What a great looking kit, I'm not the slightest bit envious of all you lucky guys who've got one of these on order

Good to meet a few of the regular fellow Armortek owners at the show and a few new ones who've caught the bug.

Anyway enough waffling here's what you really want to see - Mark & Gill of course

Oh and a few shots of the King Tiger for all those lucky customers out there, Mark was telling me that at this stage the model had ran for an hour and three quarters and was still showing a set of green lights on the battery indicator - very impressive:

Certainly saves you having to lug all your gear around:

What ever next?

See you at the Open Day,

Vince.

Here are some more photos from the show, there wasn't a huge amount of German vehicles this year, which was a shame, as usual though the Allied vehicles were in abundance and very impressive:

Vince,

A nice set of photos of the new KT and Swimwagons. Were you ther with yours, I couldn't find you on Friday?

Mark, Gill some of us had to carry our packed lunch!!! Glad you could get to the show but unfortunately on Thursday I had a work meeting to attend!!

I've stuck a few hotos in of the Friday battle. I like these, and in my opinion they are well done. I just wish I could photo them without catching the officials, photographers and audience.
