The Newcastle hobby show is on again this August 23rd-24th at the Broadmeadow Racecourse Chatham Road Newcastle N.S.W . Australia.
Rick Jenson will be there with his early tiger , plus he should have his new part built Jagpanther there . I will have my tiger on display . If I can fit the sherman in the car I will take that as well . Gill is sending out the latest flyers on the new kits that are avaliable . So if any aussie forum uses as well as any over seas modellers that are in Australia please come along and meet us and have a look at these model in person and we can talk the talk and give all the info you need about these kits . Every time while seeing Sherman's small 76mm gun, I can't stop thinking of those 3 Shermans in "Kelly's Heros", with 90mm tube on their 76mm gun barrels, try to cheat Krauts that their Shermans have got bigger guns. :D

That 76mm gun was hardly a "door-knocking" tool to Tiger-1, let alone to the King Tiger.
But, just as Oddball said: "The only weakpoint of the Tiger, is it's arse. You got hit it right from behind!"

Dale. Just a joke: if you can sit an Oddball figure in your Sherman, aiming the 76mm gun on your Tiger---right from behind.
That would be a very interesting scence.
See you on the show.
