Famo 18 tonner.

Hi all,
I hope everyone is well.
A Famo 18 ton half track would not only be a most impressive model in its own right, those of us who have a Pak43/41 need a large prime mover like this to complete the ensemble. Having produced the 251, (an excellent model) the how is already known. It just needs enough of us to want one to make it a reality.
Famo for me.
Kevin.

How about making this the first "crowd funded" Armortek model ? There's been interest in it for years.

If enough people pledge the money within a set timescale, the model gets manufactured.

Otherwise you get your stake back.

This could work for any model which Armortek consider too great a risk to offer as a general release. Crusader or Matilda anyone ?

Adrian.

interesting suggestion.
I for one have no desire to go for something like this, but plenty seem to like the idea.

We could look into the FAMO as a model for 2018 .. but we would need to have at least 30 confirmed orders in order to seriously consider it - otherwise the economics just don't work out.
If you are interested, either use this thread, or send us a mail at sales@armortek.co.uk.

Dreams are allowed, isn't it

The Pics are from last years Militracks in Overloon ( Netherlands ) where I had the chance to go around the track with the FAMO 8) 8) 8)

interesting model, start a list, get deposits sorted, whats the total price for the kit?, i would be in, as adrian said crowd funding takes the pressure off. regards simon.

Hi guys
I spoke with Gill about three years ago about the Famo in great detail because of the size big very big (ho yer).
The cost could be between £4000 and £4500 .
I for one would be happy to pay that for one of these.
I have been building an 8 tonn German csrgo trailer the past cupel of years and the plans for the sdah 115 and 116 any of which would complement the Famo nicely :D :D
Best regards to all

Steve
