Hi all can anyone help me with getting the right transmitter for my 2005 Sherman M4A3.
I've been looking at this transmitter because it has the two spring back sticks

It's certainly very cheap for a 14 channel set up, but looks very basic to me and it's not a make I've heard of before.

The Futabas have a cheap kit to make them self centering and the Spektrums already have them fitted, they just need the screws adjusting.

This system uses the FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum) waveform which has compatibility limitations a s follows:

The Armortek motion pack modules supplied from 2005 onwards until recently are not compatible with FHSS. The Morris Quad is now supplied with an all new pair of modules which are compatible with all known RC waveforms.

If I may, the problem is not with FHSS per se.

Futaba's FASST systems uses FHSS, as do Spektrum's DSM2 and DSMX systems.

The problem is the way the positional data is send over the carrier and the speed at which the receiver sends this information out of the servo ports.

As helicopters and drones have become more popular, faster response times are needed to reduce control input lag and so ensure flight stability and responsiveness.

The "standard" receiver frame rate is 22ms, these newer radio systems are using a frame rate of 11ms or even less, and this is where the incompatibility lies.
