One for those of you in the North of the country!

I have been contacted by the organisers of this show who would be very pleased to hear from any Armortek owners interested in attending.

Details below:

There has been a model show at this time in Blackpool for many years, however it was previously limited to just model boats, however, as we have taken over the running of this event (the previous organiser having emigrated) this year the show will include boats, trucks, tanks & cars.

The venue is the Norbreck Castle Hotel, which is situated on the seafront at the north end of Blackpool. Whilst it is fair to say that the hotel isn't 5 star, it is an excellent venue & offers us something in the region of 2700 square metres of space across 2 halls to play with. There is easy access for loading-in & lots of free parking, what more does a show need?

This promises to be a well attended, interesting event, so if you are at all interested in attending, or just want to find out a little more, please contact me.

There is a show web site, a little basic at the moment, but it will be developed more in the coming weeks / months, which can be found at the following address: http://www.blackpoolmodelshow.co.uk

I believe this show is being organised by the owner of the Component-Shop and Action Electronics. Although their primary focus is model boat systems, they've got a lot of wiggly amps kit which is relevant to us if you're one of the lucky few who have a clue about the mysterious world of electricity. Sadly, that's not me.

The Action Electronics bit is worth a look.
