Hello Chaps
There are going to be some good diaramas set up at the Armortek stand so we will look forward to seeing you there.

There are Lee! Robin will be there with his winter dio, and Kampfgruppe vonAbt will be there in all our glory. If anyone wants a flavour of the vonAbt contribution check our site,
www.vonabt.co.uk. Chock full of Armortek models it is, plus the most impressive 1/6th scale dioramas in the world. Honest. Modest, me?

Just to say a big thanks to Gill and Mark for a great day on Saturday at the War and Peace show. Looking forward to seeing the photo of us all standing in the mud. The only issues was getting out, had the drive the car about a mile with mud up to the axles, but in the end made it to the main exit and then got stuck in the mud

. Big thanks to the police for pushing me out.
Thanks again for a great day.
Nigel.

To echo Lee's comments - thank you Mark and Gill. The show was excellent fun, with lots of visitors to the Armortek stand. The stand was huge. Dave showed his Ferret (?) and Vince showed his Schwimmwagen. We had a Kampfgruppe von Abt diorama set up as part of the stand, where we had a Siebel ferry lay out, a desert scene by Lee, and a winter scene by Robin.
I have uploaded by photo set to the Armrtek Photo Gallery. Click
HERE to view.
As you can see it was quite a show.

Yes, really interesting photos!
Kent, I think you are right. It seems to be the new Tiger
I thought the same as I saw the 7th photo.
Let's hope that John has a closer one (or two...

)

wow !!! lots of photies, I had a great day at the stand on Friday and the Tiger went really well with the models getting a lot of public interest. I got told off at the local car wash on Saturday when I hosed most of the Hop farms mud off my car all over their clean forecourt. Theres just no pleasing some.
I think Armortek have an ideal spot there, close to the food, beer tent and arena, so lots of passers by. Thanks to Mark and Gill - I hope you do well and pick up some good orders. I'm sure the M2 will be very popular model, I've already broached the subject with higher authority but I think it will take a while to obtain full financial approval!!

Hello Chaps
What a week a very busy one. The weather was as follows sun, sun, sun, sun.,rain Mud,Mud rain, rain Mud.
The models coped very well and the only major thing that let them down was the batteries as they wasnt gettting a full deep charge.
The vehicles were very nice and as John Sanders told my son Sean the scenery was good as well.HUBBA HUBBA HUBBA.

Well it was certainly an excellent show despite the mud!
We had a record number of customers visit our stand and it was really great to see you all. Also our sincere thanks to everyone who brought their models to display each day, and to those who who stayed with us through rain and shine all week!!!
Going to Waitrose shopping in David Ward's Ferret was certainly a new experience for me, as was a trip round the muddy showground in Vince Abbott's Schwimmwagen.
Here is a picture of us on Saturday having 'fun in the mud' sent to me by Vince who is currently on 'flood watch' and has lost his internet connection.

Hi All,
it has to be said the show was a lot less dusty than usual
My apologies to Gill for only being 88% right with the forecasts and I promise to try harder next year

I still say rain is rain and it was only the quantity that was in question
As said the weather was not the best but I still had a great time and it was good to finally put faces to many of the names, my thanks to Lee for taking all my pocket money but at least now amongst other things I have a Dragon Kett and some nice rare bits to detail it with.
We are now back and unpacked and will hopefully be restoring normal service within the next few days,
Best regards
Dave

Gill,
Could you make the pictures a bit bigger next time

As I need to fill my 52 inch PC screen.
Nigel.
Had a great day and the picture just shows how muddy it was.
