If anybody requires detailed photos of the 131 at Bovington then let me know as we are down there at least twice a month.

Hi Dennis,

Some photographs of the muzzle, showing the rifling and the muzzle brake ports would be great. I've been making a 3D model for my Tiger and though nearly there, I'm not quite happy with the ports.

many thanks,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Nice to hear from you, it's a pity I didn't know about this earlier today as I have been down there all day and only just got back. We are not down there again until 12th March, if that's not too late I will see what I can do then.

Dennis.

Hi Dennis,

Mid March will be fine. Though I've been getting on with my Panzer III, I've now got so much work on it will be late march before I can spend much time on the Muzzle Brake.

Many thanks,

Sarah

Thank you for your kind offer. Could you take some photos of the rear deck, please. How the various covers 'sit' relative to the main body. Does it have grenade grills over the main engine covers? Thank you.

The grills over the engine vents on 131 are not original they are very much post war offerings which bear little resemblance to the originals

I think my offer of photos has just been made redundant. What do you think Sarah and Graham ? Is there enough detail in Vince's photos for you both ?

Hi Sarah,

I'm sorry but this is the best I could do as I had the camera on the end of a mono-pod and difficult to get the focus etc right. I can email them to you if required just PM me your email address.

This is pictures of 131 turret I took in 1997. I think it was getting the engine done in the workshop at the time.
