Hi again.

Apology, this is not a 'trick' question, I am though very interested to see the source upon which you based the shape of this bracket part.
I have not seen anything like it before, so am keen to broaden my learning on Tiger.

Love the work you do on these engines.

Kind regards, Simon.

Hi.

I think the water heater bracket is not quite right. Look at Jentz books for a drawing of this arrangement.

Unless you have some different information.

Hi Simon, I'm sorry but I do not read the forum often.
I do not understand what piece you are talking about, what is photo 10/11?

Hi.

I refer to the bracket for the cold start water heater unit.

In extreme cold the engine was heated before starting and you show the unit plus the fixing bracket.

I believe the fixing bracket is not quite accurate, but am open to opinions showing photos of the actual unit.

Jentz and Doyle show this fixing.

By the way, I love your work on these engines.

Regards, Simon.

Hi Simon,
surely you're right, I only have this picture and these drawings,
I tried to interpret them in the best way.
If you have photos I would like to see them. Thank you!

Hi Ivano.

Love your work on these engines.

It seems to me the photos and the drawings [ by others ] are not in agreement.

I asked the original question because I found a bracket for sale that was said to be from T1. This bracket was the closest I could find, but, it is not exactly the same as the photos, but is close to the diagrams.

Very confusing, but I obviously go with the photos, not drawings produced by individuals.

Keep up you work, it is inspiring.

Regards, Simon.

Hi, I'm finishing building the Hl230 P45 1/2 engine kit for Tiger1. Well detailed model and "solid" construction to install on the tank. Model composed of resin and metal parts, copper and brass tubes with 238 metal bolts and nuts. The ends of the rubber hoses, decals and air filters are still missing. If anyone is interested, the model is for sale. Thank you!

I'm interested in a full kit. Last time we spoke you said you would make another batch at Christmas.

Hi Mark yes it's true, but we last wrote to each other on February 14, 2021. At Christmas 2021 I made other kits, the last one I sold in Hungary a few weeks ago. Time passes too fast !!!
Next week I will check which pieces I have to make from scratch (some molds are too old now) then I will know how to give you a price.
Unfortunately here all the materials have gone through a very high increase, so today I can't tell you how much it will cost. But if we find a deal, I can start in September, everyone goes on vacation here in August. Next week I'll contact you with updated news. Thank you!
