My work was cancelled this morning so I had a bit of time to play with my new Photoshop elements.

Hi Paul, Great job, I think i also know the location, having been there this summer.
This looks very much like the road upto the Eagles Nest on the Obersalzberg.
Could be wrong though.....

You're not wrong Tim, the background photo is of the road to Obersalzberg, I took over 25 years ago.

Thanks Duncan, Ill do my best mate, I'm trying to make some room to start the refit of my Tiger 1. so the photography will have to wait.
