Hi William,

I think the Bren occasionally pulled the 6pdr Anti Tank Gun. The 25pdr plus limber may have been too heavy.

Hello William,
I think fabric is correct, the 25pdr with the limber would have been to heavy for the small Bren carrier, found one picture but this is a modern static picture,

Seeing these carriers driving at military shows and what a handful they look like to drive, I cant imagine what they must have been like to drive even with the small 6pdr behind it.

Hi William,

There are web comments on 25pdrs being associated with the turretless versions of the M3/M5 light tank, saying these vehicles were used as AOP's or "gun tractors". But so far the only photo I have found shows a 17pdr being towed in the desert.

However in terms of a viable, plausible, and inexpensive, gun tractor, the 21st Cent 1/6th Stuart model could be a good starting point. The drive train might need beefing up, but that is not beyond your evident skills :D !

Kind regards
Fabrice

Yes Fabrice,

Thank you from me too, as I was looking for a book called
(Army Wheels in Detail Morris Commercial C8 Quad)
for some time now!

But now I have ordered up this book above, from Bookworld Wholesale Ltd, hoping it will become useful
when Mark starts mass-production of the Morris C8 Quad truck rolling off Armortek
factory assembly line soon!

Cheers
Ian
