Hi all
I am creating a script for my commander all works ok.
I have applied the settings and running the script all seem's ok. But when i disconect it from the computer and run it as a standalone unit the script is very odd missing some steps and some movments to fast.

Question Has anybody had simler things happen and if so how did you fix it.

6 channel servo board.

Regards as allways

P.S. I am getting on quite well with my ebay tiger

How are you powering it ?

It could be that the servos are getting enough power when running from USB but not when disconnected from it, so you may be seeing the effects of power brownouts.

Adrian.

Hi Andy,

I spent an awful lot of time get the programs to run right and one of things that you mention was the movement being too fast although when you step through it is ok. In the end I had to build in delays to get it to look right. Not sure about the missing steps, I know some have put in ferrite cores in case it was an interference problem. I wouldn't think it was a power problem. Sorry I can't be of much more help but I spent about 3 weeks trying to get it right even going into m/c code as well.
This was my result, the video is not very good and the movements are a lot smoother in real life.

I've programmed a lot of them. Most of the time the script would act strange it was because of a lack of power.
