Hi Guys
Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding these ?, I bought from a local store which are 9mm but I think that their too small or something as they didn't fire. The firing mech is working perfectly but if anyone can let me know of an exact make and where to get them, I would be much obliged.
Regards
Bryan.

Hi Bryan
Before I start All blank firers are very dangerous all users should be aware of its dangers. I rarely use mine in public shows now, preferring a flash conversion documented in previous topics.
What type of blank firer do you have? Are you using it in a tank?
I take it you have brought standard brass 9mm blanks usually in around tub of 50 used in blank firing pistols.
I have converted the Armourtek blank firer using removable sleeves in each of the 6 chambers. The 9mm blank will produce a reasonable crack sound and a small amount of smoke, flash is not always visible, but the firer remains reasonably clean.
This is apposed to the 12 bore blank, bang big, flash, loads of smoke, sometimes filling the turret. The debris from the 12 bore blank is horrible, the smoke and gases are corrosive and the combustion chamber and barrel require cleaning after 6 rounds have been fired. I have made a deflection bag that covers the combustion chamber which reduces "fall out" in side the turret. internals still need cleaning though.
It is possible to remove the black powder from the 12 bore blank, dispose of carefully (nasty stuff), the empty cartridge then only uses the firing cap and becomes a reasonable clean discharge, no smoke. no flash.
