Price Rises and Paypal

Hi All,
I am not sure whether any one will realise or not but in the nearly 5 years since our tank parts started we have not put our prices up. This has, with material price rises and everything else slowly cut our margins and as you will appreciate we can't avoid this forever.
Rather than put the prices up at this point we have taken the decision to reduce some of our packing costs to offset the various rises. From now on the bulk of our parts will be supplied packed in plastic bags, as most of the aftermarket suppliers currently do, rather than in the plastic boxes we have traditionally used.
We have also always swallowed the paypal fees on transactions and for the time being will continue to on retail orders but again, if these continue to rise we will have to pass on some or all of these charges. We have had no choice but introduce these charges on trade orders where our margins are already lower.
I hope you understand the reasons for these changes and will accept the fact that this allows us to hold our pricing possibly for another 6-12 months.
Best regards
Dave
