Alert - Stolen King Tiger

I am very sad to report that a King Tiger has been stolen from the home of one of our UK customers.
Understandably they do not wish to be named, however we would ask everyone to please be alert should you hear of a completed Armortek King Tiger for sale. If you are not 100% sure that the seller is legitimate please feel free to contact us here at Armortek, in confidence to check.
Two recent pictures of the model are shown below. The first in an unfinished state so you can see its unusual texture. The pictures are hi-res and you can see the detail clearly if you click on each picture to enlarge.
Thanks
Gill

Sounds kinda strange. Just how does one walk away with 250lbs.of KT., unbeknownst?

How sad - the owner must be gutted.Hope there was plenty of insurance in force although it probably wont compensate for the hundreds of hours it must have taken to build.Having investigated these types of incidents for decades I can say that it was unlikely(although not impossible) to have been an opportunist theft and we all need to be a touch vigilant with the security of our high value models.

This beggars belief - really not the sort of think one casually walks off with, makes you wonder if it was specifically targeted?
I saw this mighty fine model at the Midlands model engineering show - I'm very sad for the owner.
Fingers crossed the model is recovered safely.

Here on the other side of the channel we also keep our eyes open.
One can never know that he turns up somewhere over here.

It is a very unusual story, can i suggest that either the owner or Armortek on their behalf contact the media, its a strange story that the media/TV would probably 'jump all over' due to the size weight etc and practicalities of stealing something like this?
Hope it returns to its rightful owner soon.

One problem with informing the media is if aired this will give ideas to other thieving urchins potentially leading to more thefts especially if they know the value, one thing is for sure who ever took the model that is what they went looking for as they must have had ramps to get the Tiger in the back of a car or van and probably wouldn’t be your local hoody types who just happened to be breaking in and thought “we can ring this” or go joy riding round town.
