Post by bryanrmassie »

Hi all, tried to recharge my transmitter but it just would'nt charge up so got a hold of new batteries and still nothing, new transmitter on the cards I feel but how do I go about matching the two !!, I have no experience in electrics other than the first fix up if you like, which I got a wee hand with.

I need to learn this stuff !!

Hi Bryan.

What about the model shop rout, take it in and see what they say, but if you end up going down the new radio rout get brand new and simply fit the new receiver and plug everything in where we originally did for you.
But I would try the model shop or another charger for the radio might be a cracked wire on the charger!
Cheers Paul.

P.S. WHERE'S MY OPAL :(

Bryan,
Your radio transmitter battery most likely died. I had to replace the battery pack in my Spektrum DX6. It stopped taking a charge. Once there is no power from the battery it may loose the paring information to the receiver. You will have to pair to transmitter to the receiver. I don't know what type of system you have but the manuals and process can be found on line. There is probably a Youtube video about it. Check your plug in connections into the receiver as well.
Best regards,
Bob
