Barrel elevation control

Hi all,

I want to set up my Cent so that the barrel is either a. at level elevation for travel or b. at highest elevation for firing.

Is it possible to assign the up ad down control to one of the toggle switches and have the limit switches handle the limits of travel?

I have used the rotary control know but found it a bit too fiddly and I wanted the positive style of it being up or down.

I know its a bit of an odd one but I just want to make it so lol,

Regards, Mick

Mick - you could save yourself the bother by only selecting the level position which is the position for travelling and the most likely elevation for firing most ammunition natures. The only time the barrel would be in much elevation would be firing very long range semi- indirect with HE which wasn't a very common engagement as that's artillery territory. That said, the Australians did do some long range HE in Vietnam. It really jars for me when I see tanks running around with the barrel pointing heavenwards. The Tank Museum do it because I suppose their crews know no better. It also jars when I see tank commanders standing in the turret. Looks very amateur. I expect in Denny's fine regiment, they would have jailed people for lesser crimes......

Best regards.

Stephen

PS. Sorry if that sounds like a grumpy old rant - it is. I'm stuck in a hotel and Armortek is keeping me sane. Bet Gill and Mark didn't realise they also provide therapy. Stephen
