help please

Post by William Bath »

Hi does anybody have dimensions for the trunion in the picture, the ones on my eleven year old Tiger seem out of scale?

Hi. Don't know the measure, but here's a suggestion. Notice the trunion diameter in the picture is almost identical in measure to the width of the base plate of the gun mantel, as well as the 2 intersecting plates within the rectangular weld-seams directly above and below it. The margins of error here should be miniscule when reduced to 1/6th scale. Now see if all three measures are equal on your model. They should be. As for the length of the trunion (and this is hardly precise), you should be able to slip a tow cable loop just past the head of the peg and up against the trunion base. Hope this helps you out for lack of better info.
