Shrivenham Defence Academy

The Friends of the Tank Museum had a Visit to Shrivenham Defence Academy today. As I live in Oxford and have driven past countless times it was an opportunity to see behind the wire and satisfy some part of my curiosity.
It was an extremely good visit, with some excellent talks and plenty of opportunity to explore the vehicles in their collection.
As they have put restrictions on photographs being posted on Face book and Twitter I hesitate to put anything up on this august forum without permission. I have some photos of their Centurion and 25 Pounder which might be useful for anyone who wants another example to check. If anyone wants some copies let me know and I will put them on disc.
The best thing was bringing back memories of Bovington from my childhood, as we were able get onto, and into the exhibits, absolutely brilliant!
