Hi all helper's,
Just want to pick your brain's again with your experience, is it best to paint (King Tiger) tracks' or leave them as out of the box state ?
If painted what would be the procedure ?
Many thanks Roger

I painted my Tiger tracks. Cleaned well in soapy water. Painted black then airbrushed some brown shades and used various mig pigments, earth and rust colours. Sealed the pigments. They have stood up well to driving. I like them painted.

I use MIG Rust effect (rusty water in a bottle)
It stinks like hell so you need to ventilate..
And on top of that I use Vallejo pigments
I rub it everywhere, and when you run the tank it wears of nicely (as the original tank would)
on this picture is a 1/16 scale tiger track for the front of the hull.
On the bottom is the standard track, on top is the reworked track with the mig and vallejo
Same works for the exhausts (1/16 in picture, works also for 1/6)
