The rims wont fit.. the tires are too thick I guess, how can i fix this?
The halves should fit nicely on eachother, but there's a gap.

Hello Leon

I'm afraid you just havn't used enough force. These rims fit just right, compressing the rubber tyre just a tiny amount and clamping it firmly in place. Apply adhesive and use clamps or a heavy weight while it cures. It's really very easy.

Remember it is always best to ask us by e-mail as a first action, rather than broadcasting it on the forum.

Im sorry Mark, I will E-mail in the future if I find problems.

As for the rims, on the picture, it was a dryfit.
I put a weight on it an now it has a tiny gap I can fill easy with putty. Thanks for the tip!

Dryfitting time.
I do this to get the shape in 3d, so I can see how and what I can modify.
It's an easy kit, only the search for a type of small part, bolt or nut takes time.

After the full kit is complete (not entirely assembled, but just the things to see how it fits) then i'll start modding some things 8)

This kit is very promising.
I hope that Mark and Gill will consider to extend the range of the Kompact Kit
Good work!

Shield almost done, need to cut the rivets and round them off on the back.
The drawing says it needs nuts and bolts, but I placed rivets instead, like the original.

Cutting time! Making the pins in the back look like rivets:

Added some extra glue, some came loose by the shaking of the dremel tool

Busy with the ring, needs a lot of work.
This is how it's done according to the drawing from armortek:

And this is what it should look like:

need to round and fill the gaps, add more rivets and add some brass plate to the points.
