Hi All,

I'm back with a few more images of my T34.
This time had a go at painting some Russian Slogans on the sides of my T34-85 turret.

In the end I went for "On To Berlin" slogan which I liked!

Cheers

Hi Folks,

Back again with some new upgrades for my T34-85 kit.

This time had a go at making two Smoke Canisters to sit at the rear of my tank.
Bought one Extra Aux Fuel Tank with fuel end caps and straps from Armortek, and cut the fuel tank in two, to give me two smoke canisters which is just the right size.

Following pics and working drawings hopefully explains how I made them!
I've still to make the cradles to strap the smoke canisters onto the back!

Happy Easter

Cheers
Ian

Very good work and well thought out. You could mix some mushy peas with your paint for extra T34 texture.

Very Funny Guys…..

Glad somebody spotted how I made my eight circled ribbed edged ridges for my two smoke canisters!
(That's four tin cans of _ _ _ _ green garden peas to get 8 circled ribbed ridges….."SMART"…..Yea!…..

Maybe I should have gone for two cans of green peas, instead of trying to cut off these circled ridges to make up my smoke canisters for my T34.

No Simon the peas did not go to waste, though rather a lot to eat in one sitting!

Well done John my secret is out now on how I got my mushy green peas paint colour for my T34 tank.
Although extra mushy texture would have all slipped off my tank by now with all the rain I got this morning in the Glasgow area!

Happy Tanking Easter to all

Cheers for green peas cans!

Loving the details :-)

I've finally picked up T34 #37 from Gill, which happens to be a -76 version, so have been haunting the T34 section for a while.

Thanks Adrian,

Glad your loving the details, hope you enjoy your own build on the T34-76 kit you bought recently from Armortek.
Well I've finished with making two smoke canisters and paint job, just need to weather them, then to make two cradles to attach the canisters then fix to the rear of my tank.

Cheers

Thanks Paul,

Yes I'm pleased with these wee extras I keep adding to my T34, next I want to make two tow ropes, Russian style which will be fun making scratch built ones!

Still got plenty of other upgrades to add!! but soon it will get to the point that I have added enough to it and want to get it mobil outdoors with all this good weather we've been having up here in the Glasgow area.

But thanks for your nice comments, much appreciated from the master builder himself…i.e. u.

Cheers
Ian

Hi Colin,

I had a look around in my many upgrades boxes on tow ropes etc, and unearth a set of these, (the same ones you showed me)…. I bought from Clive Lockwood, a while back which I hope to use for my Panzer III kit!

I made a set of tow hooks for my T34 and need to make a set of tow ropes that will fit over my hooks!
The set of tow ropes you should me from your pic would not be able to fit, so thanks for your kind offer, much appreciated for sure.

Cheers for now
Ian

Hi All,

Here's my latests upgrades on my T34-85 tank.

Had a go at creating new Tow Ropes heads to fit my Tow Hooks I made a while back.
Still to shape them and file them down and add the tow ropes cables.

Cheers
