I have just finished installing the Recoil to my Early Tiger it took a few minor modifications to the Muzzle, Mantlet and Elevation Bracket, and making up longer leads for the LEDs and the Servo.
It really does make a great improvement to the Tank!

The Armortek Recoil Module is located out of view within the Hull. The Bracket for the Servo is the one supplied for the late Tigers, but with a few extra holes drilled to mount it onto the Mantlet and to secure it onto the Elevation Bracket, to strengthen both.
The thing that is home made is the linking arm from the servo, I made this so that it would hook over the servo arm so that at no point in the arm's movement would the link foul any part, because I think I have the servo in facing backwards.
My next thing is to find out the correct position for the Gun Barrel?

Excellent, this gives me hope of similar for mine in the future, trouble is the builder of my tank glued the barrel in place so I may have to make a new one.

If they used an epoxy based glue, heat from a propane torch should soften it enough to be able to twist the barrel out. It will ruin the paint finish though.

A thought for heating up the gun barrel to soften the epoxy glue. I would try putting a larger soldering iron into the base of the barrel and then monitoring the heat on the outside, hopefully heating it inside out might preserve the paint.
