Hi Folks, having problems with the Tiger and looking for some advice. It starts ok and moves forward and reverse but as soon as you want to turn its like something is blocking it and at the same time the engine noise simulator also breaks up, all other sounds are ok when static, also turret turn is ok and battery is good.
any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks

Bryan :(

Hello Bryan

First thing to do, is to double check your battery condition. If that's OK, start looking for a loose connection somewhere between the battery terminals and the speed controller.

Also check the link cable between the two batteries, as this can easily be overlooked.

Hi, there's nothing obvious but when I switch on and press the button on the main fuse box it breifly shows green then turns red and when trying to run it flashes like there's an interferance of some kind. not very good with the electrical side of things !! any thought's ?

A red flashing light, on the new modules at least, means the voltage from the battery is between 14V and 18V, so it definitely sounds like there's something wrong there.

Do you have any kind of voltage meter to check each of the batteries ?

Do you know how old they are, and have they been stored for a long period ?

What sort of charger do you use ? The Accumate ones will sometime refuse to charge a battery if its voltage is already too low, so you might have thought it's been on charge for a while and actually no charge is going in.
