Are you using airbrush to do base coat? AK Interactve do good size paints for base coat.

Thanks john. Would I be right in thinking your base would be one of your finish colours?

Bob, I was thinking about this. AK Interactive base coat. 60ml

I used mainly Tamiya XF60on the Tiger. Used lots of pots due to small size. I will be using an aerosol of RAL 7028 in future. Colour is dark for 1/6 scale but highlights nice with shades of tamiya xf60. You can see some of this RAL 7028 on my Panzer IV. For Tiger camo I used Tamiya pots but one pot of each well thinned down was fine.

Hello Chaps

For Painting with Tamija XF range 10ml pots you need to dilute with Tamiya thinners to the consitancy of milk when airbrushing. I find if you to the 10ml pot up to nearly the top its just about right. So you are getting about 20mls.
On a panther i get through about 14 pots to get the base on so not bad on costs.
