Hi guys i noticed some discussion on ramps .I just bought some wheelchair ramps for less than $100 .They are fantastic ,mine are 4ft long which is enough to drive into station wagon or my trailer also for steps at front and back of my house.You can get longer or shorter if reguired.They fold up and you carry them like a briefcase.They can handle 275 kg and are made from aluminium. I will attach carpet for grip.Why would you bother making ramps.These even come with pins to lock into position.They have raised edges to prevent falling off sides..The brand i bought is Bullet. cheers peter. ps i have late tiger

Nice but they wont support a king tiger. I brought 1.83m steel loading ramps with same raised edges (use upsidedown) for £45 from ebay brand new. I put carpet in them too and the work wonderfully with a KT.

Hi fellas.

8 X 2 rough sawn timber with rubber pads nailed on for anti slip never let me down and cheap as you like.

Scafolding board cut in half lengthways, with carpet nailed on.Does what it says on the tin.

Hello Peter,

I bought Alloy ramps just like yours but six feet in length, folds up as you say like a case. And yes, they do support a King Tiger.

Hi Dennis, the cheap carpet that I used is foam backed, and therefore I was able to use Evostik. It works perfectly. This carpet comes with ridges, and I glued them with the ridges horizontally to give more grip.

My £45 pair, 6ft odd steel ebay ramps. I put the wood in the sides to stop the track pins catching under the ridge
