E-mail and Order Problems

Hi Guys

I am still having some e-mail problems. I do not know if I am receiving all mail sent to me, I do know that some mail I send is not being received. This is due to having toyrific@mindspring.com for around 15 years and it has been hijacked by the spammers for some time. Hence several servers are blocking it as spam. If you send me a e-mail and do not receive a reply in 48 hours PM me here or on the SAG forum. If you are placing a order, please include your full name and address as I still do not have access to my original customer database and cannot check who a unnamed e-mail is from.

Hi Mike.

I don't think it's your email address per se which is being blocked, it's the mindpring.com and/or cox.net mail servers which have been blacklisted.

If you use a mail client such as Thunderbird or Outlook, it's quite easy to set up two separate mail accounts which can be read at the same time. I have seven email accounts set up in Thunderbird, and can select from which one to send any emails.

If you set yourself up a new @outlook.com or @gmail.com account, you could receive on both but would only send out on the new unblocked account. It would mean that you would slowly move over to the new address, but as long as your flyers still have both, people will always be able to get through to you and you can be pretty certain that outlook.com (Microsoft) or gmail (Google) are not going to let themselves become blacklisted in the same way as mindspirng.com.
