very low lift jacks

Has anyone found a lift jack that does not need to be placed in a well in order to clear the tank underside? Sorry if this has already been dealt with but I can not find a search function.

Hi Lawrence
I use the Sealey motorcycle scissor stand,Model MC5905.V2,ontop of my hydraulic
lifting table,under neith my Tiger1.
Dont get confused with the specification where it says low support pin height 180mm
It folds flat with its top touching the base at 80mm and slides under the Tiger easy.
Hope that helps

hello Lawrence,
if you use eBay have a look at item number 330867688489 this is the type I use and it fitted under the panther/jagdpanther/comet/kt/sherman, it has a minimum height of 8.5cm and a maximum height of 35cm, platform size is 38x23cm, and has a weight limit of 300-400kg so well capable of our tanks, I have added some pics of what the lift looks like if you can not view the eBay one,

Thanks to you both for the information. It took a bit of searching but I did finally find one from a nearby US seller. Usually I can pick up one end of my models and push blocks underneath but I just unexpectedly purchased a previously owned Panther and so now I need the lift. I'll need to rig up some low ramps on the lift table to get initial clearance but they won't need to be very high.

I use the one in the first picture for my Tigers. It does not have clearance to slide underneath, however I just cut some 1 inch thick board track width and fitted to the board which is fitted to the lifting table top. I also fitted an extension bar as it was not possible to operate otherwise.

This lift is wider than some of the others so more stable.
