Hi did i spell that right .Why is it in such a add hock position .Is it fixed or do you need to remove it to use. Also what are the correct decals .There are black with silver writing or yellow. Cheers

The idea with the position was to have it easily accessible through the escape hatch to put out fires on the engine deck. The fuel tanks were right underneath. On early tigers, you will find it in different positions, like on the side of narrow stowage bins, where it was still easier to access, but with the standard bins, this was no longer possible in order to clear the hatch.
On top of the radiator, oriented for easy access through the hatch, is where it ended up at last.
