Hi Folks;

I just wanted to add a comment regarding customer service from Armortek. I had been searching for a part for my Panther that has been out of production. I was not having success finding the part, several of the forum members suggested contacting Armortek. I did this and am happy to report that Mark and Jill were not only able to locate the part, they sent it to me at no charge!
I'm sure the that forum members already know how well Armortek treats them. I felt that I had to say for anyone thinking of purchasing Armortek products you will not be disappointed. Their Armor models are well engineered, Instructions are easy to understand and their customer service is outstanding. I have never been treated so well.
I can see why this company is doing so well. They produce a quality product and back it up with quality service. They are a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone. I will definitely be a repeat customer! I'm most impressed.

Thanks all;
Mike

I too would like to add to Mike's comments.
This sunday i went to top up the charge on my tanks and found to my horror a minor disater which could have been even worse if I had turned my Tank on check on its paces.
Basically the Mouse is mightier than the Tiger! My wife had been spilling seed in the garage, when filling the Bird Feeders, and this has attracted mice and in the hull a nest was being created by torn news paper, rags and shredded wiring! They really liked Futaba leads, the turret turn motor wire and one brand of the 20amp cable which was dangerously exposed to this mass of wirewool and atomised paper, and plastic.
A trip to Maplins for more cable, and new connectors quickly sorted most of it all out. However there was one Armotrek cable which, although taped up, still works. But a new one is needed, so an embarrassed phone call this morning to explain the situation and the need, met with Mark saying that a replacement would be in the post as soon as possible, sorted, simply and easily!
A disster was averted and sorted out quickly with no conflagration. So please rember mice can strike at any time with no warning, mini terrorists in fur coats! Be vigilant, these new weather patterns make them seek leibenstraum in places you don't want.
Mark and Gill's help is much appreciated.
Regards
Steve

Mike, glad to hear Gill was able to help with the part. I agree with comments regarding customer service. I have always had top notch service from The Armortek team.

The customer service from Gill and the easy (if Ex engineer)problems solved by Mark, either over the phone or by visiting the shop make a complete novice feel safe, as well as achieving (as some distant point) the aim of a completed miniature 1/6th scale tank.

Without their help and understanding I would not be contemplating another 'Toy', let alone completing my current effort.

Any one new to the hobby should be confident of a source of help, without resorting to on-line embarrassment for stupid mistakes.
