g'day all. can anyone tell me what the holes in the pics are for. i can't seem to find anything that mounts on there. am i missing something.

Hi Ray, looking on page 24 of the instruction manual it looks to me these are the holes made for attaching the return rollers that go above the main wheels. I havent got to the stage of build you are at so had a quick look at the instructions where you can clearly see the holes on the pictures and when i got to page 24 i can now see what they are for.

g'day neil. thanks for your reply but i'm talking about the 2 small holes between the road wheels on the lower hull.

Hi Ray,

those two holes are for the side skirt stay arms. There are three down each side to support the lower edge of the side skirts. The first is right at the very front where the hull angles up to the idler roller and the other two are spaced further back.

You should have six pieces of heavy gauge steel bar with a short bend on each end and drillings in for mounting. These are the stay arms.

This should help, but only after you mount the mudguards on which the skirts are fitted.
