Hey Guys,
I need someone to weigh in on a question I have.
I have the nost recent Late Tiger to build which includes the Recoil Option Pak. I am interested in purchasing Mike Stannards new muzzle brake and would really like the detail of the rifling insert as well. My concern is this: Mike said the insert is about two inches in depth so it would probably be possible to have the bulb simulating the muzzle flash inserted deep enough into the barrel as to not negate the rifling detail. However, would this have too much of a diminishing effect on the muzzle flash?
Any comments, opinions or first-hand experience with this combination of detail and functionality would be appreciated.
Regards,
James

Re: Advice Requested Re: Recoil/Muzzle Flash Option
In sunlight, I've found that the flash is most effective when it illuminates the internal detail of the muzzle brake.
I wouldn't have thought that the rifling detail was visible for more than a centimetre or so into the barrel under normal conditions, so I would place the LEDs just deep enough into the barrel that they aren't visible through the side port of the muzzle brake.
When the flash goes off, it should show of the rifling detail perfectly.
Adrian.

Thanks Adrian. That sounds like a very feasible idea.
